With some greenery,
Billbords for cell phones and jeans,
And a clear spring day,
The monstrous quarter--
Blocks of flats for Securitate officials
Sourounding the palace on the hill for the Leader--
That Causescu had only half-finished
Before their bullet finished him off,
Doesn't look so bad.
A cause for optimism or pessimism?
